Pacific Parade

Although each island has its own distinct culture, they all share a common ancestry — Polynesia.  The Polynesians headed out into the unknown and vastness of the Pacific Ocean in outrigger canoes - they colonized the islands as they discovered them. From the Mariana Islands in the West to Easter Island in the East.  New Zealand in the South to Hawaii in the North.  An area of approximately 30 million square miles. Which would make it, in area, the largest nation on earth. In this episode we are going to island hop, and retrace — musically — the journey that  those brave souls took so long ago.
